Conference COMAT 2014 was held on November 19th - 21st at the Parkhotel Plzen. Conference was organized by company TANGER Ltd. and COMTES FHT a.s.
116 persons from the 11 countries attended the conference (Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Russian Federation, Turkey, Thailand, Japan, Kazakhstan, Romania and Republic of Korea). The participants presented 52 lectures and 35 posters. The conference was divided into eight session and poster session.
Conference was opened by speech of Zbysek Novy from COMTES FHT a.s. Plenary session consisted of three invited lectures: Uwe Diekmann (Metatech GmbH, Germany), Michal Zemko (COMTES FHT a.s., Czech Republic) and Ruslan Valiev (Institute of Physics of Advanced Material, Ufa State Aviation Technical University/Laboratory for Mechanics of Bulk Nanomaterials, Russian Federation).
Poster session was held on Nov 19th and winners of the poster session were announced during the social evening. The social evening took place in Na Spilce restaurant (part of Pilsen brewery).
Excursion to company COMTES FHT a.s. - conference accompanying program - was held on Nov 20th.
