Conference COMAT 2016 was held on November 9th - 11th at the Hotel Angelo, Pilsen, Czech Republic, EU. Conference was organized by company TANGER Ltd. and COMTES FHT a.s.
143 persons from the 12 countries attended the conference (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Russian Federation, Turkey, Spain, Thailand, Portugal, Romania, Algeria and United Kingdom). The participants presented 60 lectures and 48 posters. The conference was divided into eight session and poster session.
Conference was opened by speech of Jan Džugan from COMTES FHT a.s. Plenary session consisted of three invited lectures: Jose Cesar de SA (INEGI, University of Porto, Portugal), Jaromír DLOUHÝ, (COMTES FHT a.s., Czech Republic) and a lecture on the occasion of the jubilee prof. Jozef Zrník.
Poster session was held on Nov 9th and winners of the poster session were announced during the social evening. The social evening took place in Na Spilce restaurant (part of Pilsen brewery). Winners of the Best Poster Contest:
1st place: Maria BEHULOVA (Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Trnava, Slovakia, EU)
2nd place: Róbert KOČIŠKO (Technical University of Košice, Košice, Slovensko, EU)
3rd place: Dalibor VOJTĚCH (Institute of Chemical Technology Prague, Prague, Czech Republic, EU).
Excursion to company COMTES FHT a.s. - conference accompanying program - was held on Nov 10th.
Next conference COMAT 2018 will be held in 2018.
